Every procurement decision starts with a sample. Arrival samples help your quality assurance team check that the beans delivered represent the coffee you agreed to buy. When you cannot be on site, we provide an independent presence and clear, efficient communication.
For over 50 years C.S.S. has drawn green coffee in ports and warehouses for importers, roasters, processors, and the lenders and insurers behind them. Conventional lots are sampled and graded to the methods and standards the trade expects.
Specialty coffee asks a finer question than sound or unsound. For lots traded at a high differential, samples can be submitted blind to a panel of SCA-licensed Q-graders, evaluated to SCA grading and cupping protocols, scored, and valued against current market conditions.
